Tina Chen of Golden Gate Southerby’s recently worked with me and my family to secure our new, and forever home. Shopping for a new home can be a very stressful process but was easy and fun because of Tina. Tina is on top of it. We would send her a listing and she would immediately book a visit (pretty important during COVID house hunting as appointments were limited). She was prompt in getting all paperwork necessary to entering the property to us via Docusign and was always on time to our appointments. After looking at houses every weekend for a month together Tina is no longer our agent, she is our friend! She is so fun to shop with. She tells you what she thinks without holding back but she also listens to your point of view. Her insights are hilarious and she really had our family in mind while we shopped. Sometimes things would get overwhelming and decision making would become difficult but Tina was there to advise. I don’t know how many times during this process I found myself unsure about something then after hearing what Tina had to say I would simply respond, “yup, that sounds about right.” Tina works so hard for her clients as well. If I texted her on Sunday night she would respond. She also knows how to talk to people. When we found the market to be more competitive than we expected and had to discuss our options, Tina was able to talk us through raising our budget a little bit to get what we wanted. Buying a house is hard because it requires hustle, decisiveness, an eye for detail, and a good understanding of people. Tina excels in all of these fields. We were so lucky to have her as an agent and while we hope that we won’t need her services again any time soon, Tina will always be welcome in our new home as a beloved guest.
